This guy built an 8 foot retaining wall for my home on Lake of the Ozarks. Within 3 months of completion, the wall cracked from top to bottom. Water seeps through the wall. The wall is flaking and cracking off around the crack where the water froze in cold weather. There are a few other cracks that are worse than what is expected. I've been told this guy scrimped on the rebar- thus all the cracks. In addition, the wall was to be tinted uniform, light reddish. Instead, the wall is at least 3 different shades of red. Also, the guy did not bother to clean the forms before he poured the wall. As a result, the wall has many large and small patches of gray concrete. My neighbors laugh at how awful the wall appears. It is an embarrassment for the whole neighborhood. Did this guy offer to fix it. No, he refuses to even look at it. Ask any of my neighbors or anyone who has seen the wall, they will confirm it is the worst wall they have ever seen. I paid this guy about $8k - $9k for the wall. Now I must pay $6k to fix it and make it look presentable. I regret that I did business with this guy.
